Solid protection and easy access to the installation
Bergo valve boxes and water outlet boxes provide a durable, practical solution for installing valves in irrigation systems. Their robust construction and dedicated accessories make installation and future maintenance easier, regardless of system size.

Convenient watering without compromise
OUT is a water outlet box with a ¾″ ball valve, designed for quick and convenient garden hose connection. It provides easy access to water at different points around the garden, helping reduce the need to run hoses across lawns and planted areas. Durable, discreet and designed for everyday outdoor use.

Thoughtful Design
Valve box Standard is a practical and convenient solution for automatic irrigation systems in home gardens and residential developments. Its generous dimensions and optimized design provide more room for system components, making installation easier and improving access for future servicing. The robust construction provides resistance to mechanical damage, dirt and demanding weather conditions.
Even more space
The larger valve box variant Jumbo is designed for more complex automatic irrigation projects. It is well suited to large gardens, urban green spaces, institutional sites, residential developments and sports facilities. Its spacious interior supports a wide range of configurations and provides greater flexibility for future system modifications and expansion.

Bases and Installation Accessories
Bergo bases for STANDARD and JUMBO valve boxes make it easier to prepare and organize valve assemblies before they are placed in their final position. Each base comes with accessory trees (additional trees are available separately), from which the required components are detached before installation. Pipe holders attached to the pipes and the base keep the prepared layout stable and reduce the amount of work carried out directly in the excavation. The design of the bases allows the pipe routing to be matched to the specific installation and helps keep the inside of the valve box organized, making later access and servicing easier. The accessories also include a key for opening the valve box lid or securing it against unauthorized access, and a side connector for placing several bases next to each other.
FAQs
Frequently asked questions and answers
The STANDARD valve box and base allow up to five installation outlets on the longer wall. This makes it possible to serve five sections when the water supply pipe is fitted through a different wall.
The JUMBO valve box and base allow up to six installation outlets on the longer wall. Its larger space makes it easy to arrange solenoid valves, fittings, pipes and the remaining components while keeping the access needed during installation and servicing.
For larger installations, several units can be connected using the dedicated connector included in the accessory set. This makes it possible to create larger, organized layouts without placing all components in a single valve box.
Yes. The base is not required for the valve box to function, but its use is recommended. It allows the manifold assembly to be prepared and organized in advance in a workshop or warehouse, then transported to the installation site as a complete unit. This reduces the amount of work required in the excavation, makes connections easier to check and limits the need to work in mud, rain or uncomfortable positions.
It also provides a secure and organized way to arrange pipes, the manifold, solenoid valves and fittings. It prevents components from shifting, keeps the installation organized and eliminates the need for makeshift supports or other improvised mounting solutions. It also makes future servicing, component replacement and system expansion easier.
Whether the valve box is installed with or without a base, the ground should be leveled and properly stabilized. A permeable drainage layer is recommended to help water drain away and reduce water accumulation inside the box. The valve box should be installed securely, with the lid level with the surrounding ground. It should not protrude noticeably above the surface or sit in a depression where water could collect.
Inside, apart from typical irrigation system components, you can add a drain or connect a garden hose using the opening in the base.
Before cutting any openings in the valve box body, first lay out all components and check their positions. This helps plan the pipe routing and maintain enough clearance for access to the solenoid valves and connections.
Bergo Bases come with accessory trees – two with the STANDARD Base and three with the JUMBO Base, with additional trees available separately. Each accessory tree includes four pipe holders, a valve box key and a side connector for joining bases along either the longer or shorter side.
The pipe holders are a key part of the system, securing pipes, manifolds and fittings in their planned positions. They prevent components from shifting during installation, keep the assembly organized and eliminate the need for makeshift supports or additional fixings.
A wire holder cover mounted along the upper edge of the valve box provide additional cable organization. It makes easy to route and organize wires and gel connectors such as R3, DS400 and others. The cover attaches to the rail.
Bergo boxes are designed for year-round use in outdoor irrigation systems. Their reinforced construction and durable materials provide resistance to typical loads encountered in garden environments, weather conditions and low temperatures. As with any irrigation system, standard winterization is required, including draining water from pipes, valves and other components.
The reinforcement around the lower edge helps maintain the stability of the valve box body. For optimum structural performance, openings should be kept to the minimum size required for routing the pipes when they are not routed through the base.
A properly installed valve box can withstand foot traffic and the passage of lawn mowers, garden tractors and other light equipment used for landscape maintenance. It is not designed for installation on roads, parking areas or locations exposed to vehicle traffic or heavy machinery. The walls may flex slightly under soil pressure, which is an intended characteristic of the design.
